2027 Budget Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Mooers for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027, has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Mooers where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular business hours.

Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Mooers will meet, and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereon at the Town Office Complex at 2508 Rte. 11, Mooers, New York at 6:30 p.m. on the 27th day of October, 2026; and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor or against any said item or items therein contained. The proposed salaries of the following officers of the Town of Mooers for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2027, are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor                                           $19,867.00

Council Members (4)                           $5,204.00 each

Town Justice                                        $17,905.00

Supt. of Highways                                $76,320.00

Town Clerk / Tax Collector                   $29,782.00
